The wooden bench hire company were wonderful to work with when planning seating for our recent wedding. Everything was easy from start to finish and the furniture itself was perfect and arrived in wonderful condition. I would definitely use again and recommend the company hugely moving forward.

They way in which the company is run is extremely efficient, and simple, proving paperwork, or email back up for every phone conversation or transaction, directions to their site etc, so you know where you left off, and life is much more simple!! 

The tables and chairs I hired for my wedding were fantastic! They make and repair all their furniture on site, so its all in fab condition!! Their assorted chair collection is beautiful

 That room looked fab when set up, and your furniture along with a few hessian table runners, basil plants and nightlights, really gave the space that rustic style we were going for.

Delivery and collection were both smooth. The guys set everything up perfectly and were very helpful sorting out the stock this morning on collection.Overall the event went really well and the clients words were, ‘I didn’t ever expect it to look this good’. So success all round I think!

Thank you so much to Lesley and the team at Medieval Banquet Hire for providing all the props for our event No1. Balkan Express, in partnership with Colchester Firstsite Art gallery. Our event was a Gypsy music and dance night at Colchesters Firstsite Arts venue in support of a local charity. Having sorted the music and dance, we needed to decorate the venue in order to provide a fantastic gypsy-style atmosphere. After asking around we contacted Medieval Banquet Hire to see if they had any suggestions or ideas, since we werent sure whether they would have any gypsy style props. They were great and couldnt have been more helpful. Lesley talked us through all of the available props that they had , that might fit to the gypsy theme. In the event they delivered a fantastic set of props which fitted perfectly to the event and helped make it a great success.

Plain Jane Events would like to thank Medieval Banquet Hire for providing a faultless service for our medieval themed event this June. Lesley was very helpful, organised and friendly throughout, even going out of her way to get in items that weren’t currently stocked to ensure we had everything we requested. The benches, flags and set of stocks all provided a great atmosphere, and the costumes and tabards really got the staff in character. Delivery and collection went ahead as scheduled, and the event ended up being a real success. I would absolutely recommend Medieval Banquet Hire, and hope to use them again in the future.
